Our meeting will be held at the (Hotel Hacienda Bugambilias) in La Paz, Baja California Sur, México.
We have a block of rooms on hold until 1 October 2024 only. Although there are other housing options in the area, the price for this hotel is very good and we highly encourage everyone to stay together for optimum networking and to ensure a smooth and productive meeting.
Registration for the meeting will have a hard close date of 1 October 2024!
Accommodation at the Hotel Hacienda Bugambilias includes two beds per room. The room rate is $900 pesos per room and includes two adults (two beds). Additional adults are 100 pesos per night; maximum 4 adults per room. If you wish to book your room as a single, the rate is $900 pesos. The per person cost of a buffet-style breakfast ($275 pesos), lunch ($385 pesos), and dinner ($385 pesos), will be booked with your room reservation, during the meeting days. During the meeting days, coffee breaks will be provided as part of your Registration Fee, as well as an icebreaker, field trip, and the group dinner on 5 November. If you plan to extend your stay, beyond the scheduled meeting dates, you will need to make arrangements for additional days with the hotel directly.
The meeting hotel rate is quoted in Mexican pesos as the exchange rate is expected to be variable before our meeting.
The ISG will be managing your reservation with the hotel once you submit your registration form, and will include room and meals. Once you have registered for the meeting, we will send you an invoice for the hotel, to be paid to the hotel upon your arrival. You will need to print this invoice and bring it with you to present to the hotel upon arrival.
To reserve your accomodation, you must complete the ISG Meeting Registration Form first. When registering for the meeting you will need to know your roommate, if applicable, and the dates of stay for both people (meeting only, or meeting and workshop). Attendees are responsible for self-organizing into room sharing groups. If you are new to the meetings and need assistance finding other attendees to room with, email us and we will help make those connections.
Those attendees who are not invited to participate in the post-meeting Invasive Species Conservation Workshop should plan to depart the hotel on Thursday, 7 November. However, you may contact the Hacienda Bugambilias directly if you wish to stay on your own either before or after the meeting dates, after you have registered with the ISG.
