Preparations are underway for the upcoming 2019 Iguana Specialist Group meeting!
Our meeting will be held on Roatán, Honduras, home to the endemic Ctenosaura oedirhina. We intend to use this meeting as an opportunity to draft Species Recovery plans for both Ctenosaura oedirhina and Ctenosaura bakeri, endemic to the neighboring island of Útila.
Below is our very tentative schedule. We will have an optional overnight field trip to Útila, followed by the species recovery plan workshop. Those not interested in participating in the recovery plans should plan to depart on November 6th. Roatán has an international airport with many direct flights from the US, Canada, and other parts of the world. There will be a boat ride involved for the optional trip to Útila.
